This filming thing...
is freakin' EXHAUSTING! We signed our releases so technically NOW, I'm not supposed to tell anyone I"m on the show, so from this point forth, I'm not mentioning WHAT show it is, so hopefully you all remember what it is...
So, now for an update - filming started on Thursday of last week. Introductions, the big reveal for the design and demolition, and my "shopping" trip with the host (who happens to be not only drop dead GORGEOUS, but also beyond intelligent, and really, really sweet). The room is HUGE now that they completed demolition, and I'm getting SO excited to see the final product.
They filmed Alex a few times so far, so I'm hoping she makes the final cut!
Today and tomorrow is drywall and then next week they install everything!

how did the outfits go? are you finding enough things to wear within the rules?
how is the design plan- do you like what they are doing? is it true that you have no say in it?
is this the host?

how is the design plan- do you like what they are doing? is it true that you have no say in it?
is this the host?
Argh... the outfits are really bugging me. For the introductions I wore a light pink cashmere v-neck with jeans and black boots, which looked nice in the mirror, but now I'm thinking it was too light and I'm going to look like a major MAJOR heffer next to miss gorgeous host (yes, that's her!) They've had me change into three outfits now - one for intro's, one for demolition and one for shopping. I need two more and I'm seriously running out of ideas!
I LOOOOVE the design plan, I really do. There's only one thing I asked for that they didn't provide, but I'm starting to understand why - there really wasn't enough space for EVERYTHING I wanted. But they got the basics of everything I asked for. The only thing I may not like is the paint color, but I'm keeping an open mind, and if I still don't like it at the end, we can always change that easily. We don't technically have a say, but it's clear that the designer/host took into consideration our "style" from the rest of the house, and everythign we asked for...

im sure you will look fab on TV
and fyi- i dont think the host looks so good- on TV she always loooks messy...i always tell dh that
