survey
Has anyone who was going to buy a house need to get a new survey?
Is this normal? and if so, what are the costs?

We had to have a new survey done b/c the previous one was done in 1951 (we bought from the original owners) so it was strongly recommended by our lawyer. I can't remember exactly how much it cost but I think it was between $500-800.
