does anyone else feel like this?
We got our application for a mortgage (to get pre-approved) and to be signing my name for so much money is making me feel kind of sick!

I get sick at anything over $1K
I was sick when I got my car- so I can imagine how sick I will be over a mortgage
but since we pay such a high rent now- I might actually feel better knowing it's mine- all mine- and I can do what ever I want with losing my sercurity deposit!

good luck! (we are mortgage shopping right now - i work in a bank so I want to make sure i get a good interest rate and dont just go w/my employer out of convinence, lol)

Yup - and once we had calculated the actual monthly payment...we stressed over that too. BUT...as long as you really are within your means...it all works out and you will at some point get passed the stressing (not completely but enough) so that you can enjoy the home.

It was terrifying. We were also at each other's throats. Wait till you sign the contract and closing docs...take a barf bag with ya!
