Paint Color Help
We have an office in our finished basement with no windows. I can't figure out what color to paint the walls. This is the carpet, it looks slightly darker and greener in person:

Re: Paint Color Help
I don't know how dark you want to go, or even if the shade is right, but we used a really nice green from Behr.
Now I can't remember the name! I will be back in a min with a pic and the shade.
ETA: It is Shortgrass Prairie.
ETA again: Might be too dark, but I know there was a lighter shade in the same family, I just don't remember the color. Hope this helps.

Re: Paint Color Help
I have a similar color carpet in one of my bedrooms and did the walls Benjamin Moore's Desert Tan. It is more of a yellowish tan but I liked it b/c it was bright... Might work well for you if the room is kind of dark already.
Good luck!
Here is a pic of the color...

Re: Paint Color Help
Since it is hard to tell the exact color of the carpet in a pic, go to homedepot.com and use their color chooser. It will be more efficient than us guessing a color.

Re: Paint Color Help
The more I stare at the pic the more I see the green shade that you are talking about. I would go with a beige color...but more of the chocolate/beige color.

Re: Paint Color Help
Here is a better picture:
I really don't want to do beige because that's what color most of my house is. Do you think any of the greens in the pic would work?

Re: Paint Color Help
Restoration Hardware as a color called Silver sage that I am DYING to do one of my rooms in...the color is warm yet neutral but sooo gorgeous...i think it would match the rug perfect, and isnt too dark (you need to go on the lighter side bc its a basement w/no windows)

Re: Paint Color Help
I'd go with a beige color, since there are no windows, it would make the room appear brighter.
