I know this is terrible...

We've been in our house only a little over a year, and I really really really want to re-do our bedroom already. We painted when we moved in.

I am still in love with our furniture (I can't picture ever getting sick of it, though I am sure I will) but I want to paint and get new bedding and curtains. I just saw a quilt in the Pottery Barn catalog that I am drooling over.

The sad thing is, I know I could talk DH into it. But I know it would take away from the other priorities we have (first and foremost, painting the nursery.)

OK. I just needed to whine a little bit.

I always get into those kicks. I focus on one thing that I really want - but of course don't need - I will obsess over it - and then usually I will rationalize that there are other things that I need that I could spend $$ on. It's completely normal!!!!

I heasr you. We painted also and got new carpets becasue the floors were damaged. Now I want to get the wood floors redone or look into the laminate. I also want to get some wall hangings, new moulding, new shades (I hate the one's I bought).

I guess thats what happens.

I get the same way. Unfortunately all of that stuff adds up though. we just got new bedding and window treatments from pottery barn. I ended up spending close to $2000!!!!
