actually there is..
one of the biggest points that the prosecution has to make is wrecklessness when he was driving..
and there is a HUGE dispute on how fast he was going at the time of the accident
Ya never know what the tape can shed light on..
And if it is in the favor of the DA...then that may help support the charge you want...MURDER..

i don't think they need the video footage in order to prove that he was driving ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD....that fact, in and of itself PROVES he was driving wrecklessly.

Sorry but it doesn't...
he is saying that he is new in town that he didn't know the area...
it was an ACCIDENT that he went that way
THIS IS ACTUALLY a HUGE issue in the case right now..
I have been reading the articles everyday
the DA HAS to prove wrecklessness and just going down the wrong way doesn't do it..
They keep having issues geting an accurate read on how fast he was driving....another way to prove wrecklessness
they have the eye witnesses but apparently not enough
SO a video could be helpful i would think to push the vote their way

well he isn't going to get off by any menas
but the real effort is getting the Murder charge to stick
which in and of itself is going to be the hard part...and highly unlikely
BUT with the video they may be able to tell how wreckless the guy was driving..
which could tipt he scales in teh DA's favor

where is he originally from? how long has he lived here?
if the video can show how fast he was going, then by all means, use it to their advantage (the prosecution)
i just can't imagine how difficult it will be for the parents and family members to actually see the video, kwim?

He is from some hillbilly state...i forget where...
not sure of the particulars and what it comes down to is that he can and is using that as an excuse...and it could be viewed as accidental
BUT as i said..in the articles that have been published (and they have been on a daily basis)...
they are saying that they have to prove excessive wrecklessness..
and intent on hurting himself or others..
This is the DAs biggest problem..
if there are skid marks, if the video shows him turning away from the limo...then they will not get the Murder charge to stick
it is that simple yet hard...

They said on the news earlier that he had atleast 21 drinks before getting behind the wheel. I dont know where they got that info from but just that fact alone makes it murder in my mind!

well i am not sure if they can estimate exactly how many drinks he has per say
but i guess they can have an educated guess by how high his BAC was
