Re: Were there any "obscure" sitcoms or shows that you really loved.....
Don't laugh but I actually used to watch Small Wonder. It was one of those shows that was so bad you had to watch. It had to be one of the most ridiculous premises for a show with some of the worst acting I have ever seen.
And yes, I used to watch. Hey I was a kid, I would watch any crap that was on t.v.

Nickelodeon used to ROCK.
-you can't do that on television -hey dude -salute your shorts -double dare
it was like a kid's haven for fun on TV without fearing your parents would disapprove. can't say that i feel the same way anymore.

Me too! Then I went to law school with Claire Dane's brother. I had no idea. He went out with a friend of mine for years and I never realized they were siblings until her brother and my friend broke up. So all that times I was just 2 degrees of separation from Jared Leto and I never knew it.
I LOVED Rags to Riches and You Can't Do That on Television!!!
I also liked Double Trouble and Just the 10 of us.

for the about 5 episodes they were on!

Remember Lottery. It was a show where people won the lottery & they saw how life changed. It was pretty obscure.
There was also a show a LOOOOONG time ago. I think it starred Mathew Perry. He was telekinetic or something? Did I imagine that one?

Remember the show that had Chad Allen, Shannon Doherty, Diedre Hall & Wilfred Brimley (?) - I think it was called "Our House". I used to love it.

Was it called "The Powers of Matthew Star" or something like that?
That was early 80's. I am not sure if it was Matthew Perry though, so we might be thinking of two different shows.

I used to like a pre-teen comedy show that I THINK was called Out of This World....which was about a teenage girl who had a box with a light in it and it was the voice of her alien dad. And the girl had powers. It rocked!
Also...Jack and Jill with Amanda Peet.

I'd put my money on it that NO ONE will remember this game show but I was actually on it like 5 times! lol I made it to the championship. It was called Video Power and it was on channel 9 at like 6:30 in the morning or something ridiculous like that. I actually found the opening song on YouTube. It's bad quality but check it out!

Take a look! It's in a book! It's Reading Rainbow!!!!
I loved when they would say, "But you don't have to take my word for it!" and then they would cut to the story. Lavar Burton.
