Oh Melissa, I can't imagine what you are going through.
I know it's hard but please, please, please have someone check in on him at least once a day by going to the hospital. My dad was in the hospital for 11 days after a severe stroke and I had to be there all of the time to make sure he received everything he needed. It is so stressful.
If you need anything please let me know. I work in Seaford and can swing by if you need anything.
Hi guys...just got off the phone with the nurse and called the doctor and i'm waiting for a call back from the doc.
The results from the cat scan came back and there is a problem but the nurse said she can't tell me over the phone -- the doctor has to tell me.
and of course the doctor wasn't there when i called so i have to wait for a call back.
also they need me to go up to the hospital to sign a consent form for them to put a perminant IV line in because they said he will be in there for a bit longer and he keeps ripping his lines out because he is thrashing so much even though he is sedated.
so i called the babysitter since my niece hasn't called yet and she said even thogh emily is sick i can drop her off since she doesn't have any other kids todya -- just her daughter...so i'm on my way up to the hospital in a few minutes.
please keep praying that the cat scan didn't show something TOO serious -- i don't think i can deal with something too serious. it's hard enough being at this point --- and of course my mind is racing with 100 million things....
I'm so sorry you are going through this. Do Dr.'s offices realize how much they scare us??!!! It could be something totally minor but they need to tell you in person.
Tomorrow night starts the high holy days and you are your family will definitely be in my prayers
I'm so glad the babysitter will take Emily for you. I am praying that everything is OK and that the doctor's news isn't anything serious. Please keep us posted. Gosh I just wish I could do more.
