AF vs. Implantation "spotting"-updated question
Ok ladies I need your help! We are not TTC yet but are not actively preventing either. I am either getting AF one week early or it is implantation spotting which I have no idea what it is.
How do you tell the difference. On what day in your cycle would you see implantation spotting and what color/how heavy would it be and how many days would it last.
Sorry for the TMI post but if I am on my way to a BFP I want to act accordingly :)

ETA: SORRY FOR THE TMI but - It now appears to be full blown regular AF. This can't be implantation spotting right? Or can implantation spotting be so much it mimics AF? Should I still take a test?
Sorry I am freaking so much but I am usually very regular. I don't think AF has been this early in years. Plus, this is our first month without BC

I only had implantation spotting with this pregnancy. It was kind of clumpish, LITE, brown and lasted only 2 days.

I actually thought the same thing. I thought I was starting AF early too, but it went away after about 24 hours. It was browish and light, like the beginning of my period.

I got just one day and it was a bright red and only lasted a few hours.
It was the day before my beta

I bled very lightly for a few days. At first it was brown - then red - then brown again. It was also very stringy and clumpy - sorry for TMI.

Thanks ladies. How far in advance of AF did you get this? I am about 6 days early. Was it as heavy as AF or just a little spotting that you would wear a panty liner for. Sorry for the TMI but Im freaking out a bit!

For me it was just "panty liner worthy" and it was after I had already gotten my BFP. I don't even know for sure if that is what it was, but that is what the doc said. There was a little bit of blood when I went to the bathroom that one time, and then nothing else.

That helps alot! I was wondering if I could just take a HPT but I figured if this was "implantation" spotting it would be too early... I will probably take one when I was supposed to get AF. I will act as if I am pg until then
