Almost 30 and still breaking out like a teenager
I just don't get it! Will it ever stop? Am i the only one who still gets breakouts?

NO! I am so quiet today at work because my chin looks horrible. I am so self-conscious when I have zits... this doesnt happen often but when it does, its BAD!

Yes that happens to me too when my skin is bad. I become so self conscious. I hate it! I need to go back to the derm and get back on some anti biotics.

For me in the past 4 months I have been on 4 different types of BCP, and I think my body is crazy from all the different hormones and imbalances.  I cant do antibiotics while on BCP either.

I never broke out as a teenager than at 23- BAM. I got the nastiest cystic acne.
I went on anti biotics for a few months and it cleared nicely- in conjunction with Differin gel. Now I just use the Differin gel to prevent it and on the occasional break out. But it's never as bad as it was when I first got it.
I feel your pain!
See the dermo- they have some great stuff they can give you!

Just went of antibiotics and Proactiv because we are TTC soon. My chin looks like I have a rash!
I think I am going to go back on the Proactiv, since my OB/GYN said it's OK.....but use it sparingly.....I can't live like this.
Oh, and I'm 28.

I'm in the same boat as you! My face was clear for the last few years...thanks to Accutane and then I believe BC pills. I went off BCP's 2 months ago and my skin is now a mess again!

i have 7 on the left hand side of my chin right now. its horrible!
have you tried tea tree oil?
that seems to help mine
Proactive was to strong for me.

Proactiv has worked wonders for me. You just have to give it a chance...I tried everything (including Accutane) and have gotten the best results from Proactiv.

I always have a new zit on my chin. It seems all of us get zits on the chin. Here is my theory...
Could it be the phone? If you look on your chin where the zits are, mine is where the phone leans against my face...

love proactiv!! the key is to use it consistently 2x a day. it gets expensive, but it gets the job done!

I use Murad products and really like them. Hated proactive!
Chin breakouts (I had one last week!) are usually hormonal and hurt like a mother. Also, look at your diet. When I overindulge in dairy (cheese, ice cream) my skin pays for it. I don't know what the dairy/acne connection is, but for me it rings true.
I also use an organic wash that helps. When I'm using too much Murad (it's strong) I like to use natural things.
I see so many older people w/breakouts now. I think it's stress and diet.

Lana, I posted an article about this not long ago - I'm the same way with dairy.
Cutting out sugar helps me, too.

I break out more now too!! I think it's because I went off of BCP's..but it's def. getting annoying and it makes me very self concious...ughhh
