Missing Doctor
Sorry this is long…..
This might be a long shot but our doctor is among the missing. DH and I saw the doctor for an appointment on 7/17 and spoke to him again on 7/20. There was no indication of anything wrong or any upcoming vacations.
BUT we have been calling the office for the last two weeks (even drove over) and no one is there. The answering service doesn’t know anything. They gave us a number for another doctor to call but that office says we must make an appointment as new patients when all we need are prescriptions to be renewed. Even CVS has tried to contact our doctor to no avail.
If anyone knows our doctor and has any information as to where he is and if he’s coming back we would greatly appreciate it.(We hope there is nothing seriously wrong.)
We don’t want to have to start over with someone new.

That is so weird! The whole practice is gone?
I googled the name and see that there's also a location n Rockville Center. The phone is 516-766-7655. Maybe they have some info?

Weird….Yes
The Rockville Center office is his old location….(he’s been in Garden City for several years.)
The phone number there rings/then sounds like a fax machine. And any number from the Garden City office goes to the answering service.

There was no indication of him retiring. We talk a lot (about many topics) during our appointments so I’m sure that would have come up.
Things happen,I get that BUT one would think that patients would some how be notified (even a note on the office door).

Yes, I was aware of this BUT I did some more digging and found out that the Doctor’s medical license was revoked as of 8/4/2026.
I am stunned to say the least.
Now in the market for a NEW doctor, any recommendations?
