Why is sexual health education so vitally important?
It is our human right for us to know, embrace and love our bodies. Much around sexual development is often a mystery growing up and beyond. If we continue to keep quiet about our sexual and reproductive health and development, then we will continue to make sexuality something to be ashamed of. Being connected to and respectful of our bodies is essential to having a happy and healthy life. The practice of yoga helps us to foster mindfulness and self-care which in turn sets the foundation for a healthy sexuality and relationships. This is why it is so important for our children to learn yoga and about being mindful at such a young age, so we can help to mold our children into well-adjusted, balanced, and strong adults.
