Vera Bradley ladies- I know you are not as spastic as I, but..
if you do have a lapse and have a water bottle leak into your bag, the dye will run like a marathoner.
I have one of those Rubbermaid bottles and it leaked because I hadn't pushed the thing down. I didn't realize, and put the bag on my lap. The dye (red, of course) bled all over my pants. I had to wash them three times before it all came out. Even after showering, I still have a huge pinkish spot on my leg too.

I have wondered about this - I have one Vera Purse, but a bunch of travel bags and the travel bags are all lined with plastic. Sorry about your pants

Really? I use one of mine in the rain and snow (for school) and it never ran. I also had a highlilghter bleed through the bag, washed it and it all came out. That stinks.
