 | Is it normal to not feel movement? I havent felt any movement from the baby at all. Im 20wks and 4 days. i was supposed to have my Level II today at NYHQ, but they called at 7 am to cancel because one of the sonographers called in sick and they said it would be to busy to see me, I was so dissapointed i started to cry because i really wanted to make sure everything was ok, now i have to wait another whole week, they scheduled me for next wednesday. Has anyone else not felt movement halfway through their pregnancy? Is this normal? I am starting to worry and getting extremely stressed!!!!! | | Posted 12/14/05 10:59 PM |

 | Re: Is it normal to not feel movement? Its normal. Sometimes your placenta can lie in the front and it makes it harder to feel movement earlier on. I had that with my daughter and she was my second child, I was sure I would feel her earlier. But it was 21-22 weeks before I felt her movement. That may be the case with you. Aw! I feel bad for you with your appt being cancelled. I probably would have cried too. I know that feeling of yearning to connect to the baby. | | Posted 12/14/05 11:52 PM |

 | Re: Is it normal to not feel movement? It took me longer than many of the girls on here to feel movement and I am 27 weeks now and still only feel it occasionally. | | Posted 12/15/05 8:51 AM |

 | Re: Is it normal to not feel movement? I didn't feel much at 20 weeks either. When I told my Dr she said it was still early. | | Posted 12/15/05 9:07 AM |
