.... MORE GOOD NEWS!!!
so as i posted yesterday on the HOME board, we got the house...
today,... i got the call i have been waiting for...
I got the job!!! 
so, despite the lack of the Thank You letter that slipped my mind, i got the job anyway. i guess it is save to say i learned an important lesson here (thanks everyone)
it makes the idea of getting the house so much more exciting b/c i know i will actually be moving up there in two weeks!!

i have it all ready to be mailed out tomorrow am - and the HR lady too - i know i have learned my lesson now
i thanked her for the opportunity and said i am looking forward to working there .. etc...
