Does the room open up into another space? What do you have in there?

 | Re: What do you think of this kitchen table? I really like it. I am partial to darker woods and cherry colors - I think they look rich and warm. |

I agree w/Scott. I would go with a darker wood. BTW...your kitchen is beautiful.

 | Re: What do you think of this kitchen table? I really LOVE the table.. the darker colored table top accented w/the lighter colored base is a nice contrast to your kitchen colors..
but I'm not really 'sold' on the chairs..I think if the chairs were reverse (i.e. they had a dark frame with light colored seats) it would go nicer.

 Your kitchen is amazing!!!

It's a store called Kitchen Kaboodle in Oregon. The table is by Hooker.

I would do something with silver metal legs and a black top or black legs and a lighter top.

Does the room open up into another space? What do you have in there?

It has a great room affect opening up to the family room. The family room is very neutral, tans.

being that the room is open to the family room I would get a kitchen table and chair set that could tie the two spaces together and act as a natural bridge/focal point.
