If you're blonde/highlighted can you post a pic&recommend a good colorist on LI?
my colorist is going on maternity leave&i dont think she is returning back to work after she has the baby...i am panicking because i have tried other colorists & have hated the way my hair turns out...can anyone recommend someone who specializes in blondes and possibly post apicture??? I live in massapequa but willing to travel to someone good:) thanks!!

My SIL goes to someone at Alure on Merrick Rd. (I think it's considered amityville) I think her name is Holly. She loves her and her hair always looks good.

It is Amityville and there are a bunch of good stylists. Try Dayna, she's worked on my hair before.

I know i asked her & she wont be able to take clients while on leave...she couldnt really recommend anyone else& I'm in a wedding party next month so im getting nervous

I have brown hair naturally but I do caramel high/lowlights often. I use and LOVE Melanie Pekarek at Cactus on Vanderbuilt Parkway near the Bonwitt Inn. She's great! Sorry, no pic; but I'm going Friday for a touch up so I can post then!

I use Dawn and Nicole at Domani in Woodbury on Woodbury Road. I have been going to them for years and think they do a fabulous job!!!
Here is my hair at my wedding :)

I have no new pics, but I have been going to my stylist forever. She is a great colourist & is honest....she will let you know if what you want is not good for you or will not match you r hair cut, etc.
Her name is Roberta, and she is at Olga's in Bellmore

Di Rosa in Franklin Square.. been going for over 13 years. They were actually featured on My Super Sweet Sixteen on MTV... My sister also goes and I have made so many recommendations!!

Kdelace who do you use at derosa? a few of my friends go to the guy who owns the place(i forgot his name) by looking at your picture your color is really pretty and natural looking.

I am a natural blonde but my mother gets highlights from Artistic Hair Design in Farmingdale (on merritts road). There prices are so reasonable!! I got a foil in High School when it was winter and my roots were very dark and it was $125 for a foil, wash, cut and blow dry. It came out great!! I also had it done for my wedding to lighten up my hair because I wasn't out in the sun as much (afraid of burning before the wedding!!)
I have been going to this salon since I was 1 years old!! Debbie is the best book with her!! I also live in massapequa!

I totally second this...I have been going there for years...I used to go to Karen (Kristi/kdelace is my sis and she still goes to her but it's hard for me to make my last minute appointments with her)
Now I go to Meredith and I LOOOOOOOOVE her...(she's a twin--her other sister Corrine works there too and is pretty good)
I am naturally dark-haired and no one believes me...
