Re: Great Wolf Lodge or Great Escape?
I dont know anything about GWL, but I dont know that Great Escape will have much for a 2 year old. We were there last summer and there was a lot to do for a little older age group (like around 10+) and adults but I think my 2 year old would have been bored.

Honestly, Im not concerned with him- as this is really a "gift" for my older child.... my DH and younger DS arent huge water people, so they are happy hanging by the little splash areas...
I more concerned with their being enough for my big guy that he will be able to meet height requirements for...

Re: Great Wolf Lodge or Great Escape?
We've been to both this year, and I think we prefer GWL because they have a wave pool. Albeit it was dirty the last time we went. They also have a lot more to do on-site, mini bowling, kids club, magiquest, etc. Of course the price is just about double of Great Escape though. They do have a code if you stay 2 nights, EARLY

Is there other stuff to do in the area? I like the idea of being in Lake George; so if we decided to stay somewhere else (with a family member) the 2nd day; there was still local activities....
Im only looking to stay for 1 night...and I actually have a 20% off coupon for GWL, but Great Escapes is stilll like $100 bucks cheaper...
