i would do the Great wolf. my dd is 6 now and even at that age she told me "shes over sesame street", lol.

my sis took the her 3 kids ranging at the time 2-7 to great wolf lodge and they all had a great time.. kids are asking to go again.
eta: only bad part they said was nothing to do at night.

Nothing to do at night for the kids or adults? At night they have a clocktower show, a bedtime story in front of the fireplace and they have the Magic Quest wands where the kids run all over the hotel and play the game, and they have the arcade. The waterpark doesn't close until around 10pm I think. We have never been bored at night when we have went.

We went to GWL last winter and it was great! We loved it. Will def. go back next winter, I love how you can have no regardless of the weather!
Emily is 4 (but tall) and was able to go on all the slides except for one, she had a blast. I saw older kids and lots of tweens there having fun too

Personally I'd take the kids to Sesame Place first if they have never been because your 7 year old will outgrow Sesame Place very soon. They'll both be able to enjoy Great Wolf for a while.
Sesame Place was my absolute favorite place when I was super young. I liked it so much more than Disney. My parents had taken me on some scary ride and I was traumatized at Disney at age 5.
