Are you all going to supermarkets or trying to make due with what you have

Some think I am crazy to go out, others are going out. I do have enough to make due but could use some specific things. Are you all mostly staying put?

DH is at the supermarket right now.
We dont' keep stock piles of food in our house so we need to go every few days

We are planning better and working to go just once a week. I went yesterday and got fruits, veggies and things we were low on or I couldn't get last week.

We also have a small fruit and veggie store which I'm planning to go to 2x a week. It's never very crowded and their fruits and veggies are amazing.

we tend to have a lot of the dry goods and frozen foods. we go out once a week to get fresh produce and whatever we might be missing/needing.

I just went to the market yesterday bought more than I normally do, but will have to go again probably by the weekend.

Trying to wait to go and will buy longer lasting things to only go every 2 weeks

I got a honeydew last week and since it takes a week to ripen, we have some fresh fruit for the next few days. I plan to buy some squash and root veggies that last a bit too

I went right when this was all starting to get crazy, like about 10 days ago. I was hoping it would last me the initial 2 weeks and I would supplement with online delivery. I can't get my prime whole foods delivery, I can't get peapod or others. The food did not last long, we are emotionally eating and boredom eating. So I needed to go to the stores yesterday, I was hoping just to go to one but it was so crowded and people were touching up against me and they barely had anything. I went to a second store. At this point I grabbed whatever and hoping it'll last me a real two full weeks. I don't want to go back until april sometime. However, now I'm starting to feel sick. I better not get sick from the idiots at the supermarket who would not respect even one ft of personal space. I am not rushing out to any other store unless truly necessary...

I have not been to a food store in 10 days. Really trying to make do with what I have. Did a car side pick up from Target and got some things. Should be ok for awhile. Had to go to cvs to pick up prescriptions. Got in and out fast. Thankfully few people in the store.

I went last Monday and normally would have gone back today. My parents grabbed me a loaf of bread today so I'm going to wait a few more days before I shop again. Most things we're fine on but fresh produce, milk, and yogurt are getting low and I'd love to get some fresh meat rather than dip into the freezer stash.

I haven’t been since the 13th.
We can use some bread but otherwise ok.

I'm going which seems every few days because I pop in to see what things are restocked.

I do miss my Clorox wipes for my regular cleaning. I am not even using them b/c I dont want to run out.

Can't win.

Been doing my normal weekly shopping with no problem. People are running to big box places and during the week and no one is around on Sundays. Not stopping to do that as they will just eat more if I buy more.

I got some wine the other day, but my freezer is stocked with food. I’m not a stress eater, so my supply is still full, thank God.

I think the supermarket would send me into a public anxiety attack, and I don’t need that right now. For some reason I have had anxiety attacks in the supermarket and they are a trigger. So I’ll stay away.

I am out of wine, but that’s fine. I don’t want to come out of this needing rehab.

I have been having more takeout ordered. I don’t want to cook and since my appetite is so low it isn’t expensive for me. Plus I support the local restaurants because they need it right now. I get it delivered and they leave it on the step or they can come to the door.

We're going to do our weekly shopping trips, as usual.

I am still going out to get what I need. I make sure to wash my hands when I get home. This morning I went to Target to get a few things and they actually had TP (limiting 1 per person) and I was able to get a can of sanitizing wipes.

DH and I were discussing this morning. We have plenty of food. Our fridge is still pretty full, so I want to hold off and just eat what we have. I could see going every week or two. DH wants to eat certain things we ran out of/ don't last long and he wants to go shopping. He just picked up a few things Thursday and he wants to go again today.

I went when all of this started for me on 3/12. That's when my kids' school closed for the first time. I really stocked up on pasta, rice and other non-perishables. I was able to get meat then too. Right now my pantry and freezer are packed. We have had to go in to refill on eggs, fruit and snacks. My kids eat about 43 snacks a day. Its insane.

We’re making due. It hasn’t been gourmet meals everyday but enough to be filling and sometimes nutritious (can’t call my ice cream and Oreo dinner last night healthy)

I could use bread, but I’m going to bake some from a recipe I saw floating around for flat bread. I have what is needed.

I shopped last Monday and got enough to last us 2 weeks. I can still go another 2 due to neighbors dropping off food as they went shopping. (I love my block) so we’re good.

Saving canned soups and such for last. And we have a good 8 cans because I am a soup junkie

I am making do. Freezer is full. Except for work I'm not going anywhere. I will limit my trips to the supermarket except for when I have to.
