Things to do by Legoland Discovery in Weschester
I am taking my kids (ages 3,5 & 7) to the Legoland Discovery center and was wondering if any of you have visited before and had suggestions of other things to do in that area.
I considered Rye Playland but heard mixed reviews. I am open to something natural- a short hike, cave, etc.
Also considered stopping on the way to liberty Island to visit the park, see statue of liberty and possibly visit the Liberty Science Center.
Any new ideas, thoughts or suggestions will be helpful. TIA!

There's isnt very much up there. Maybe the Bronx zoo?

Things to do by Legoland Discovery in Weschester
Not sure how far you are traveling but I consider Yonkers more of a day trip. You could spend time at the shopping center where Legoland is, but I can't think of too much else around there that is worth it. I haven't been to Rye Playland since I was a kid so can't really speak to it now.

The Bronx Zoo does have that new Nature Trek thing that looks neat. My friend goes to Rye all the time and loves it.

We are just driving up. Thought it might be nice to stay one night, swim at hotel pool and hopefully find one more thing to tag on to do.

Things to do by Legoland Discovery in Weschester
I would think of Liberty Island, and Liberty Science center a full day trip itself and not really on the way to Legoland.
They have an iFly in the same complex and a trampoline park.
ETA - I didn't realize you were going to spend the night.
I would do the Bronx Zoo then.

Kensico dam, tea town reserve, Stone Barns, Muscoot farm, Greenberg nature center, Stanford nature center, Stepping stones museum, Bruce park playground, Bronx zoo and Children's garden at the NY botanical gardens

I HATED legal and and washed my kids hands every 3 seconds.
I LOVE liberty state science center. It is so cool and there's so much to do. Pack lunches tho.
Rye is fine. We take our 5th graders every year for their "senior" trip. No issues.

Well, yeah, any indoor play place with little pieces is going to be germy lol.
We actually really liked the Legoland Discovery Center. Especially the little rides they have

I took my 3 yr old godson to rye playland a few weeks ago and he loved it. It's a great place!
