Would you use infant clothing that was barely used, but over 5 years old and was in storage? If no, why not?

Yes, I'd wash it and use it. My boys are 3.5 years apart and my younger one wears the hand me downs, which are in storage bins in our basement until he fits into them. If my next one is also a boy (#2 and #3 will be 5 years apart), I will use those clothes too. I don't see the big deal. I always wash the clothes again when I take them out of the storage bins.

Yes. Dd and this little one will be over 4 years apart so as long as it's in good condition and washes well I will reuse everything. I will be buying an outfit here or there but no reason to waste money.

Definitely! Wash it and decide from there if anything should be tossed. My newborn stuff is almost 5 years old, had been through three kids now and I just passed it along to a friend who is using it well. Most of it still looks new.

Yes. Baby's just spit up, have diaper blowouts and ruin everything. No need to be fancy with an infant..

Definitely - my only advice is check out the clothes well in advance. Sometimes they look good when you are storing them away and after time those old bottle and food stains get larger and they may not be in as good shape as you thought.

Yup, I'm not only using hand me downs from my own kids (who are 5 years apart oldest to youngest) but also my nephew and several family friends whose kids are 3-5 years older than my oldest. I just got two boxes in the mail of size 10 boys clothes and my oldest is only 5! I put them in Rubbermaid bins to protect them a bit more.

Ok I will. I was only wondering if little snaps or such might be compromised, but they seem fine to me. Thank you!!!

Yep. I saved most of my son's stuff which will be almost 4 years old by the time I need it. I have no problem at all washing it and using it. I'm excited to get another use out of it and remember all the cute outfits he had!

Yes! All my stuff is going in storage just in case we ever decide to have another. If we do it will be at least 3-4 years from now

Yes of course. My sister gave me bins and bins of her girls' clothing when I had my daughter. Didn't have to spend any money on clothes for her.
