Newborn Birth Certificate?
Hi! So my son was born on Long island (Winthrop) but we live in Queens. It's been a month and haven't received the birth certificate yet. Who do I contact to get the status?

I believe it's the town of Minneola that you would call. We need to contact them as well since my name was misspelled.

Newborn Birth Certificate?
If you need it for health insurance, you can call the hospital and request a certificate of live birth. I had to do this with both of my boys because the birth certificate came too late!

dd is 5.5 weeks old and was born at winthrop. We just got the birth certificate a few days ago

It's the Mineola town registrar. I had to call them to get both of my DC's birth certificates.
