Bridal Shower gift
Hi, everyone. I am invited to a bridal shower. Just a question of how much to spend on a gift. Couple getting married did have an engagement party where they registered and we indeed went and got something off there.
Fast forward to her bridal shower. She is registered as well. Keep in mind their wedding is on a cruise to the Bahamas which will be $1500 a person, at least.
What is an appropriate amount to spend on her gift?

For a shower I don't really consider the circumstances - I usually just go by the relationship. For a regular shower of a non-immediate family member - so say, a cousin, friend, etc. I usually spend $50-$75. If it were an immediate family member or something then it's a little different, for me.

If it's not a very close friend or immediate family member then I think a gift off the registry with a value of around $50 is fine.
