Petro oil delivery
Anyone get a petro oil delivery this week? Just got one and amazed at how they are still charging the ceiling price and am wondering if this is across the board.

How do you fight them? Each time I call they tell me it is delivering over the ceiling which I know is BS.

I have Slomins and a contract. Don't feel so bad. Like a dummy I locked in a year ago at 3.65 Just had 203 gallon delivery!!!
I have called them and argued so much numerous times and spoke with numerous managers. My contract is up April 1st and the best they could do was let me re-lock a month sooner (March 1). Just kills me bc they are delivering now at 2.59

Check what your minimum yearly commitment is. Probably around 700 gallons. If you already had that delivered then just but COD oil before you know they will deliver. They will be pissed and accuse you of violating the contract. They won't be able to prove it though. Tell them you went away for a month and you winterized your system and shut your heating system down so you weren't using oil. If they don't want to work with you, then play dirty with them.

Our contract with Petro just ended a few weeks, thankfully, because they are so much more expensive than some other companies. We signed with Frank Bros. Oil and what Petro was offering to stay with them didn't even come close to the price we got from Frank's and other companies.

Petro oil delivery
I guess I am the only one who has been happy with Petrol. My ceiling is $3.19 and I have not paid more than $2.54 for the past few months. Last month I paid $2.19 I think.

not 100% sure what my ceiling is. my contract is up in the spring and the price was high back then but I got a delivery today for $3.59. That seems to be a bit much gotta do some shopping this spring.

I have Petro as well. Our ceiling is 2.89 but our last delivery a few weeks ago was 2.49 or 2.59. I can't remember. Are you guys sure you have the variable plan and not the fixed? If it's the variable with the ceiling there's no reason your deliveries should be so high.

I also have a petro contract and the deliveries have been under the ceiling, since oil has dropped since we locked in at $2.769 a few months ago

We signed with Petro in January 2015.
At the time the crude oil price was dropping daily, so they recommended to not do the fixed price. They offered variable and ceiling.
We went with ceiling. Our ceiling was $2.5390/gallon. Our first delivery was confirmed at $2.399. The most recent delivery was at the ceiling rate.

Our ceiling rate I believe is 2.59. We got a delivery this week and it was the ceiling price. I feel like oil is cheaper right now but haven't called to do anything about it.

I pretty much just tell them that if they don't credit me , I'm going to cancel my contract with them A contract that between myself and my family that owned my home before me have had for over 40 years .. I guess that gives me a little more leverage .

Would anyone be willing to share their info with me (is street name and town)? I called petro to complain that I was overcharged and they will not budge- accusing me of making it up that nobody was delivered for less than my ceiling (3.19). I am livid to say the least and would love to call with specifics to prove they are being untruthful.

It doesn't matter, they are going to say the price changes every day and every hour. You have to threaten to cancel if you aren't happy.
