Introduction
Hello everyone this is my really my second official parenting post but I figured I would introduce myself. I'm Christina. My amazing, beautiful and perfect daughter Julia Anne was born on July 31. It was a hard labor where my fluid levels were incredibly low so I wasn't allowed to move out of the bed once I was admitted. The. My pressure wouldn't stabilize and I ended up needing a sections. Then my little lady was incredibly jaundice and the jury is still out on why. Needless to say the next 4 days stunk because she was put in the NICU. I was told she may need a complete blood transfusion otherwise we risk at the very least hearing loss and at worse mental retardation. Luckily after almost 4 full days of phototherapy she joined me in the general nursery. And we were able to come home together the following morning. This was rally traumatizing but looking in her face everyday makes me grateful and helps me to realize how lucky I truly am. So anyway it's nice to meet you all and I look foward to chatting!!!

Congratulations on your little girl! Sorry to hear you had such a traumatizing birth experience  But I'm your  is healthy now! Welcome to mommyhood!
