Re: At What Week Did..

At 28wks the baby's kicks are not keeping me up but this pregnancy sure is! I'm lucky if I sleep for more than a solid 90 mins. Last night I went to sleep at 3:15.. woke up at 4 .. and was up again at 6:15, and that was it for the night.

As far as the baby keeping you up, I asked some mommy friends back when a friend of mine was complaining about this and I was wondering when to expect it for myself and well - turns out I only know of ONE person who was ever kept up by the baby kicking.

Leg cramps, congestion, needing to pee,, insomnia, that's another story .....

At 36.5 weeks he doesn't keep me up with his kicking. He's woken me up a couple times with hiccups but I just roll over and fall back to sleep. Constant peeing though is about every 2-3 hours. Thankfully I don't have a problem falling back to sleep unless I'm having a Braxton Hicks or I just can't get comfortable enough.

I've been having problems sleeping lately too! My legs are very restless and I just can't get comfy. That and getting up to pee ugh.

Re: At What Week Did..

Here and there starting at 22 weeks.

This is my first so I didn't even expect to feel movement or kicks for a while and I started feeling them at around 19/20 weeks. I've always been very in-tuned with my body, maybe that is why?

But, anyway, it was no biggie until around 22 weeks when - every once in a while - it would be a kick-a-thon at night and I couldn't sleep. It has only been about four, maybe five times total since it began, so I can't complain too much - really. But he is just VERY active in there - moves constantly, lol, he's actually jumping around as I type. It's just funny. DH is amazed at it.

DS didn't keep me up luckily! It's hard because they sleep when you're moving around all day -- it literally rocks them to sleep. And when you're at rest it's like playtime for them.

never actually keeps me up ... but I'll wake up and then feel it. so it's possible that is what is waking me up... but I have no problem falling back to sleep.

if I have trouble sleeping its never because of baby movement... it's because my back hurts or my hips hurt etc.

Re: At What Week Did..

This. Typically I wake up because I have to pee and then have a problem falling back asleep because the baby is like a mexican jumping bean at times.

I'm 26w

This. DS was an active guy and I remember him always kicking but I never lost sleep because of the kicking. I never slept cause I was always uncomfortable though

The kicking doesn't wake me up, but if I'm trying to go to sleep it will keep me up.
