We booked a vacation before we knew we were expecting...I'll be around 20 weeks when we travel.

We had planned on going to an all inclusive resort at Playa del Carmen for our anniversary, but change of plans now We thought it would be a waste to do all inclusive now and my high risk obgyn said Mexico was too far, so we are going to Bermuda for a week. I will be 17/18 weeks pregnant while we are away. I think this will probably count as our baby moon too lol

trying to convince DH about going away we already went away earlier this year twice. But I wanted to go away one last time in July. I want to go to Mexico

I'm still trying to decide what to do.

I was originally looking at Newport during the week since it's MUCH cheaper to stay there during that time. However, I'm not sure I want to sit in a car for 3 hrs even with breaks.

We'll see. If we go it'll be in another 3/4 weeks. I'll be 27-28 weeks.

We have my brother in laws wedding in Wilmington NC right on the beach, so we are leaving next Thursday and coming back Tuesday. That is our vacation! We're staying in a nice hotel and going to the beach everyday except for Sat which is the wedding. I wish we could go somewhere longer and further away but I want to save my paid vacation and sick days for when the baby's here, plus save our money!

To Turks & Caicos...not too far, just a few days. We'll still call it a vacation

we might go away sooner during june. My doc just told me she doesn't want me traveling at 35 weeks. lol

We went away twice. One was planned before getting pregnant and we found out the week before we left that we were expecting. We went to Riviera Maya, Mexico for a week and I was 4-5 weeks.

The second was our babymoon and it was PERFECT and EXACTLY what we wanted...we did nothing!!! We went to Costa Rica and I was about 22-23 weeks.

Doctor said to just stay hydrated and if you are going to fly make sure you move around on the plane to avoid blood clots. My ankles did get REALLY swollen when traveling back and forth to Costa Rica but it was DEF worth it. We have a timeshare with the Occidental Resorts so both times we stayed there.

we are going to grand cayman island for a week and I will be about 16 weeks at that point. I hoped to go a little further along in the pregnancy but timing didn't work out with taking vacation time from work. But I'm looking forward to peace and relaxation!!!

I don't want to fly while pregnant so any trips while pregnant have to be within driving distance. DH and I had a trip planned to the French Polynesia, but cancelled it because I was too chicken to fly.

We ended up going to Cape Cod instead. We wanted to go away again but then decided to save that time for maternity leave.

I'm on my babymoon right now! We're in Cape Cod getting ready for a couples massage. I'll be 28 wks tomorrow. I didn't want to fly or leave the country so this is perfect for us!
