DH and I went to Newport, RI in November and it was great!! Not sure when you are planningon going - but the spring, summer, or fall would be beautiful there!

I went to Villa Roma about 5 years ago for an Irish weekend. It was okay... The pool and spa was quite nice, but other than the Irish entertainment that was on that weekend, there wasn't a great deal to do there.

I have been dying to go to Philadelphia for a while or Boston is nice any time of the year.

I still think Newport would be a good option. You have Mystic and the casinos close by.

DH and I are talking about going to Baltimore for a long weekend. That may be something to think about. Also, I agree with what someone else put... Philly or Boston.
You may want a nice city where you can do a lot during the day, romantic dinner and then relax in your hotel room at night. Chat Icon

Someone told me Newport, RI too

So I guess it must be good...I've been there briefly once, but we're thinking of a babymoon/anniversary weekend too (our 4yr ann)

What is there to do there? Any good places to stay?
