Tell me everything you know about Dutch Wonderland!
I am thinking of going for DS's 2nd birthday....is that a good age? It will be in July. We are thinking of going with our friends and their child who is the same age.
Is two nights good? Hotel recs and prices? We don't necessarily need a hotel with a pool. Restaurant recs? Other things to do around there or on the way there or back?
Any and all tips appreciated. Thanks!

I would book a hotel soon - you can always cancel.
Your post got me thinking about our upcoming trip. We're staying at the Best Western Eden (highly recommended here) and the prices actually went down since I had originally booked so I cancelled my original reservation and reserved a suite.

Thanks! I did see some posts about it, I was just hoping to get some updated info. Sometimes I bring up posts from 2007 lol!

My kids absolutely love rides, so we do the preview night and then the entire next day.
We stayed at the Steamboat Inn the first year and Eden Resorts last year - both great options, IMO.

It depends. If you kid makes the height requirement for the kiddie rides (I think it's 36"), then he will be fine. We went one year with a bunch of firends and one family, their DD was 2" smaller than the height and she couldn't go on half the rides. There are rides that you can go on as a family though.
