Re: Princesses: Long Island

Just another fake staged show. It will probably get a lot of press but be awful.

I am a Bravo junky and usually love these shows but this looks bad, the girls aren't attractive (sorry but who wants to watch a bunch of faccia bruts? Chat Icon ) and they seem very whiny and annoying.

Re: Princesses: Long Island

Woof! They could have at least picked attractive girls to be in the show. Nothing redeeming about it.

Yet another inaccurate portrayal of Long Island.

Yea, and of Jewish people. The video looks like a spoof of Jewish women from LI. Yuck.

Who am I kidding, I will watch this mess. I have remarkably low standards for reality shows.

LOL, I can't get over that my co-worker dated that girl that was crying in the car. Everytime I see him at work, I yell "Go be with your 19 year old ex-girlfriend!!!" LOL, he is getting so much shit for this, it's not even funny. Of course, I have to watch this POS because he's on it and it intrigues me that this is filmed on LI as well.

I have seen all the previews and have to say I'm disgusted.

One. As a Jewish woman. Just another stereotype of Jews to make the haters hate us more. Money living, stuck up, elitist. This is not how we are. And these girls only perpetuate a stereotype.

Two. As a woman. Put on your big girl panties and stop acting like a child. Be a role model for strong independence. Don't be a Kim kardashian kind of role model.

Third. As an independent woman. I have an education. I have some nice things. I have EARNED every one of them. I'm not shallow nor am I living off anyone.

Lastly. As a future (hopefully) parent. Parents who give their kids everything do them no favors. THIS is what you end up with. A vapid child who just uses daddy credit card for her next Pravda purse so all of your friends can complain to daddy that YOU have, why don't I? These girls have no life skills. I sincerely doubt they could balance a checkbook, or budget their money month to month for all the bills.

These girls and their parent s won't even be ashamed. They will be excited about their 15 min. I would be mortified to be called a princess. It's nice to be taken care of, and I'm very fortunate to have been on the receiving end of generous in laws (down payment on a house). But you can damn well bet that I have earned everything I have. Is have learned the lesson of hard work and a good work ethic. I have learned that a marriage is a partnership and my role is equal.

Not to be standing with my hand out and asking for the credit card.

Give your children enough money to do something - don't give them enough to do nothing.

I'm sure I'll eventually catch an episode or two of this. But I expect that if you're calling yourself a 'princess', you'd have class and dignity.

It looks bad and they look over the top whiney, but I will watch...I love shows where I recognize places they are at...not like these chicks will be at All American or anything but I am sure we will see Miracle Mile and say I know where they are!!!

That's my favorite quote from The Decendents.

I read somewhere that this is supposed to be a modern day Fiddler on The Roof?!?!

Gimme a break, this is such a horrible horrible concept.

If I didn't know better, I would have thought it was a skit from Saturday Night Live. It was that bad. (SNL's Real Housewives of Disney parody was actually more entertaining!)

I also could not tell who the "princesses" were and who the moms were.

The woman saying "Help me..." at the end deserves a Razzie Award Chat Icon

Bumping because this is airing June 2nd at 9pm... I saw the preview last week during RHOC and it looks like the biggest train wreck.
