Do you give DC vitamins with flouride?
I know this can be controversial, but do you give your child vitamins with flouride? We are currently giving our 18 month old the liquid vitamins with flouride (as per pedi) We asked the dentist and were told not everyday. So confused! TIA

NO but I did for about 6 months when DS was 12-18 months without really thinking about it.

No, for a couple of reasons - I dont think fluoride is essential, and I also did not like the dyes and preservatives in the fluoride vitamins. I asked the doc to prescribe separate fluoride drops (in case I changed my mind), but those drops had preservatives as well.

I use the Rainbow Light NutriStart Multivitamin Dietary Supplement Powder Packets - I only do half the dosage, mixed in with her fruit.

yes, our ped told us to give him these liquid vitamins that she prescribed that have flouride in them after his 6 month appt.

No we dont. We use Child Life multi-vitamin and Mineral. You can buy it at Fairway or Whole Foods.
