How many hours in the daytime does your 8/9 month old sleep?
Lately DD only sleeps between 2-3 hours total all day. She does sleep through the night, but i feel like she is still too young to go the whole day on only 2-3 hours of sleep....Is that the norm? I can't remember anything from my first DS because it was so long ago.

How many hours in the daytime does your 8/9 month old sleep?
DD does the same, about 2-3 hours usually over 2 naps. She also used to sleep 11-12 hours at night and now only does 10 a lot of the time. Her ped said it's fine.

Two naps 1.5 hrs each on a good day at that age. Still pretty much the same schedule now at 15 months but we are lucky if the naps are 45 mins now.

Dd does about the same 2-3 hrs, split up during the day. She still isnt always sleeping though the night either.

My 8 month old barely naps! She takes little cat naps. She usually takes about three 1/2 hr naps a day. I cannot believe she can stay up pretty much all day at her age. She also doesn't sttn anymore.

I am right there with you. Ds stopped sttn at 9 months and he still doesn't at nearly 11 months. He is also a horrible napper.

DS is just about 1 year old and had only really taken 1 nap a day. He naps about 2-3 hours every afternoon and sleeps about 12-13 hours a night.

DD is 8 months old. She sleeps 11-12 hrs at night and usually two 1-hr naps during the day.

DS slept 2-3 hrs during the day at that age (and still does at 11 months).

ok, i guess that's the norm then..i keep thinking she is still a "baby" and should be sleeping a lot during the day...she is almost 9 months..which is only 3 months away from 1 year...where does the time go!

DS sleeps about 10 hours a night and 3 30-45 minute naps (if we are lucky) per day.

the past few weeks ds has only been naping about 2 hours during the day (unless we are out nad about in the car, he naps a lot in the car)

DD is almost 9 mo and takes 1 long nap during the day that is usually 3-4 hours.

3-4 hours of nap (but can be broken up over up to 4 naps still!), and 10-11 hours at night.
