Yes. I'm still paying them. I paid quite a bit down already though.

Yes, my parents let me live with them & helped with books, etc. but actually paying for school was/is all on me. I received some grants & small scholarships, but I'll be paying off my grad & undergrad degrees for a looooong time.

No, I was very fortunate that my parents paid for both undergrad and grad. I did have partial academic scholarships for both (think it was only $8,000 for undergrad and I can't remember what it was for grad) but I went to private universities and dormed there so it was .

DH's parents paid for his as well. We were very lucky to not have any debt.

No loans for undergrad or grad and I thank god (and my parents) for that very often. None for DH either.

Paid off undergrad but still have grad loans since I'm currently in grad school.

Had college, small but paid off in 5 years. Took grad loans, medium amount, paid them off in 9 years. Have loans for my doctorate, should finish in about 2 years. I pay a lot more than the min bc I don't like owing money.

Yep for grad and undergrad despite scholarships. I will have them for a loooooong time.

I dont regret getting my degree because I truely LOVE what I do. I just shouldnt have gone to the school I went to. I had gotten into a CUNY school but couldnt work if I went there. I should have just taken out a loan for my car payment or worked something out with my parents, would have been a lot less debt that I could have paid back already.

Oh well.

I am hoping DS never has to deal with student loans, at least not for undergrad. Will be pushing state school and living at home.

I have student loans from undergrad and grad. Fortunately, I did have some scholarships. My graduate scholarships were not much at all. I graduated college with a 3.96 and received only a $500 scholarship per semester for graduate school. Considering each semester cost about $9,000 or so, the scholarship didn't help much.

Anyway...I am fine with the loans that I took out. I have a fairly unique job that I probably would not have even known existed if I didn't attend the school I did. I DO wish more scholarship would have been available at the graduate level, but I don't have any regrets.

Yes, but only for graduate school and I had a partial scholarship. My parents paid for undergrad.

Still paying off undergrad. I could have gone to CUNY on a full scholarship. I probably should have, but anyway... I think I started out with something like $30K all together. Anything that wasn't covered by scholarships and grants was loans. My parents couldnt afford to pay for college

No, neither DH nor I have loans. In my case, my parents told me that if I went to a SUNY instead of a private university (even with partial scholarship), they would be able to pay for grad school as well, so I chose to go to Binghamton (& met DH there). We realize that we are VERY fortunate that our parents were in the position to pay for our education. I hope we can do the same for our children, but it doesn't seem likely right now!

Nope my mom worked for the university. My bro n i went for free... Undergrad, masters n instructional
Leadership degree.. Sooo grateful!

I did CUNY for undergrad and grad and was extremely fortunate that my parents funded everything.

DH went SUNY for undergrad and grad and paid as he went. I think he used CC a couple of times. He had a decent amount of tuition reimbursement for grad courses from his employer.

No because I got married my 2nd semester in schools and took our wedding $$ and paid for my school in cash.
