Did anyone see the article in Newsday (Money and Career) about Student Loans?
There was an offshoot article that the Atto Generals Office had done a probe and settled with several schools about their lending practices.
Some of the schools listed were NYU, St. Johns and LIU to name a few.
I want to know if I am getting $$$ back since I went to LIU.

Other schools were Syracuse, Fordham and UPenn

 I went to St. John's
And I have many friends that went to NYU....wow I am going to have to pick up the paper later......

I went to Syracuse, but had no loans, what are the odds that they will give me money back anyway?

Don't bother....Stupid Newsday...my brother who goes to Fordham followed the links that Newsday wrote about and all it says is "contact your school's financial aid office" thats nice!
