She won't stop crying
My DD has terrible colic and today she has been crying since 11pm and she is still crying (it's a about 2:56am) we tried feeding, swaddling,shushing, putting her in the carrier and I have no idea what else to do. Please help! Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Try running the vaccuum or a hair dryer...only thing that helped my nephew

Could it be gas? Every once in a while DD would have a really rough night due to gas and she's ebf. It happened maybe 3-4 times in the first 3 months or so. Thankfully hasn't happened since although sometimes we have a rough night for no know reason.

Over the shoulder (but not so much that her tummy is leaning on my shoulder b/c that makes it worse), or flat on her tummy across my lap is what helps me with my daughter.

A car ride works or during the day a walk in the stroller. These are my last resorts.
Since your nursing watch what you are eating, some foods may make DC gassy. I made the mistake of having too much caffiene.
I also noticed my DD gets the hiccups a lot. I put her over my shoulder and rub her back and I think this has helped her swallow less air and is less gassy.

Not a short term solution but try eliminating gluten from your diet. My daughter is a lot less fussier now! It does take a few weeks to get it out of your system though.

Have you watched The Happiest Baby on the Block? Some of his techniques really helped my colicy DD. But sometimes nothing helped... so I feel your pain

Funny you say that, my DH and I watched it that evening and we tried all the techniques, it would quiet her for 5 minutes then she would start again.
I think its because she has a cold but she does this every other night. She's good in the day time but once 12am 1am hits shes fussy like no tomorrow.

I've been doing colic massages for her and shes quiet, when I stop it looks like shes stopping to think if she should start crying and she does. Hopefully we will get some sleep tonight.

Have you tried Gripe Water or Mylicon drops? My son is also ebf and when he was your daughters age he was extremely gassy. Those remedies as well as the belly massage helped tremendously!

He cried to eat but would then cry as he was nursing. It turns out he has reflux. He is now on Zantac and is a completely different baby. might be worth asking the ped about reflux.

We used to run the dust buster and that worked and bicycling her legs. We did the dust buster/bicycle/gripe water trifecta!

During the day he was mostly upright so he was happiest during the day. Once we hot about 6pm it would turn ugly. By 2am I would be on the verge if a nervous breakdown. My ds1 was a high needs baby but this was different and just kept getting worse. Ds2 would be screaming in pain. Pulling his legs up and was just miserable. Everything made him cry. It started at about 3 weeks but he was about 6 weeks when I realized this was not normal. Before that I just kept telling myself he was colicky. By his 2 month apt I was desperate since nothing was working and he was put on meds. He is now the most pleasant baby. Yes he tends to be nocturnal but at least he is happy when we are up all night lol

Some of the things that worked for us were.
-lying dd on her belly like a football hold in front of me and walking the house. When that didn't work I would do the shh shh shhishs and put the AC on. That worked I guess it's like the same as washer or hair dryer. I've had a few of those nights sorry you are going thru or too. Sounds like gas that's what it was for us and we tried everything. Gassy Timmy's Drops, worked sometimes and other the poor kid just cried herself to exhaustion. I felt so bad for her. Good luck
