When did you find out your closing date?
How much notice did you get with your closing date? We are supposed to be closing by the en of the month and still don't know a date. This is so frustrating!!

we had two..the first we found out about 2 weeks before, the second we found out about a week before

We knew that week we were closing, but didn't get the "clear to close" until 24 hours before.
Fcukers. They kept us jumping.
Don't be surprised that they will make you jump through hoops right up until the day before you close. They need this paper or that, this pay stub. This insurance. No, the insurance isn't right. No we need THAT pay stub........

Like 3 days or so.
This. Luckily we closed in the middle of the month so we were already paid up for our rent so we weren't in a rush to get out. If we were, yeah... that would be a problem.

Thanks for all the responses. Now I'm in a total panic. We still need to set up movers and that's going to be tough with 3 days notice!! We know who we are using but to coordinate it in 3 days is scary!

Our contract had an on date-or-about close date of 6/15 but the sellers weren't ready to move. Our close date actually was 7/10 and we were told this date about 2 weeks before.
