uh oh...we dont have a closing date yet and our apartment is in the paper to rent!
we told our landlady that we are moving out and that we are paid up at our apartment until 8/6..thinking we'd actually close by then- HA!!
but now we are waiting for the bank attorney to review the paperwork and do whatever they have to do and set the closing date.
We told our landlady we might not be out now til around the 15th..do you think thats possible?
thats another 2 full weeks?
If she finds someone that wants the apartment, she cant keep pushing them off to move in at a later date, she needs the income! So it looks like we have to be out by the 15th

we are in the same boat. we actually decided thought to pay thru the month of august for our apt, even though we are *supposed* to close on august 15. this way, we can do any renovations and move on our own pace. maybe your lanlord would go for something like that?

That's what we are doing. We are supposed to close around August 31, so we are going to pay through September. This way, whenever we close, we have a little time to paint and move in.
