i see they removed her!! long time coming it looks like! I am really happy that this came out. it really makes me angry that she did this to you guys, and to ROn and LIz. really unfortunate. it was the right move to get her out of here.  again, i think all of you guys that helped her throughout the years are amazing people. you did the right thing!

Im sure they deactivated her. She would need to go out with a big bang. And, she would post here again. Just like she did Friday. Waited a few months and and back.

this has been an interesting approach by TPTB. To just sit back, kick back and relax, watch everything unfold (never once respond here - even when names have been mentioned) and then remove her without saying a word.

Maybe despite having knowledge of their own interactions with her, they were unaware of how pervasive it was.
I don't think TPTB need to come out & say they banned someone & the reasons. Per the terms of the site:
"Long Island Families, Inc. reserves the right to terminate your access to any of these areas at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever."
Explaining their actions, their reasons only opens it up to debate & possible slander allegations. I wouldn't do it if it were my site either.
Edited to clarify: Nothing on this thread constitutes slander. It has to be untrue for it to be slander. But there is no reason for them to clarify their actions.

I am really nervous of saying this but I am Janet's biological sister and I want to put somethings straight. One I came on here about 4 years ago asking for help for me and my family and Janet said she got help for me somehow for a hotel stay for me and my boyfriend b/c the Ronald McDonald house was doing some renovations and such to the second floor for a few weeks like 2. YES SHE DID HELP! After that I was called a liar and scammer by her on LIF. She also told me she wanted nothing to do with me anymore. Then I made a mistake by asking directly for donations in here and got banned. Well I would periodically come in here and find her bad mouthing me and our birth family who has tried to reconnect with her and all she did was say bad things about us. My mom (biological) has been shunned and has done nothing wrong and still will talk to Janet. Janet for no reason at all had me banned from here a numerous of times. All I have done is apologize to her about nothing I knew of. My adopted father whom I was VERY close to passed away February 4, 2010 all I could think of was to call Janet for some comfort and all I got was you knew this was coming. I was going to come on here to defend her and her craziness, but read on to her own reply. I am speechless for all she has done to everyone. I will always love her as a sister but hate her as well it is all bitter sweet. I cannot defend her due to what she has done to me all I can say is KARMA is not blind!
