How much would you say it is to get your wood floors finished?
Say a typical room size. I have NO idea. Id ned to have a LR, DR, hallway, staircase and 3 bedrooms done. were supposed to close 12/20 and would love to have the floors done BEFORE we move everything in!

It goes by the square foot. Depending on how it is done, $1.00-$1.50 per ft.

i'm totally estimating here, but i would guess around $2-3k. But it all depends on size of each room, do they have to move the furniture themselves or will you do that, etc.

OMG I really dont want to spend more than $1K. Maybe Ill just do the downstairs for now. I was going to have it done before any furniture is moved in.

i did my LR, DR, hallway and entry way closet and it cost about $750 i think. it was that are $850....lol. i can't remember. no idea what the square footage is though.

I just had my living room, dining room and hallway done (LR & DR are large) and it cost $900.

We had almost our entire house done - LR, DR, stairs, hallway, 3 bedrooms. House was empty and it was $1800 I think a couple of years ago.

We just had one room done and it was $300. It was our living room and it's pretty big. We used empire state wood floors.

I just had a hallway, closets, living room/dining room combo and staircase done for just over $1000. It was 450 sq. ft. plus the stairs. We used Gold Star Floors. They were the best price by far and did a great job.

We had LR, DR, hall, stairs and 3 bedrooms done when we bought our house... costs us $2,850. This included a filler coat and some repair work on the stairs as well.
