Those of you with wood floors...

What kind of bedroom furniture do you have? Do you have light wood, dark wood, cherry wood etc? I was just curious how wood floors will look with light wood furniture in the master bedroom?

My hardwood floors are a medium brown and my master bedroom furniture is a cherry brown (not a very red cherry). I have light wood furniture in my guest bedroom with hardwood and I don't think it looked bad - it is only temp, cheap furniture so I guess I never thought too much about it.

Here you can kind of see the floor with the furniture...this is from when I first moved in.

No, just int he living room.

I think almost anything looks good with wood floors, unless you have ultra-modern stuff maybe.

We have black laquered furniture (yuk - DH got wiht his ex and they are nice pieces but not my taste), with rosewood. Black leather couches. I removed the grey wtw carpeting, got the hardwood floors finished with a red oak stain, and laid a beautiful oriental rug.
The room looks sooo much better now!!
