Before she plastered herself everywhere I didn't really have much of an opinion on her besides thinking she was gorgeous. Now I see her as a vapid woman who I feel sorry for. She is rich with money but (imo) so poor in many other ways..

Regular everyday joe's do this ALL THE TIME. It doesn't make it right. I completely support the the right for gays to be married. But I don't think Kim K should be labeled as the poster child for disgusting straight-people marriages. The girl made a mistake. She makes a VERY good living doing what she does. She has made a number of mistakes in front of millions. She won't last forever. She won't stop until WE as the public, stop watching. Until then, if anyone doesn't like her, don't watch....or read posts, or articles about her. She's not going to give it all up until she has to. I wouldn't either.
I couldn't wait for the day when Speidi would disappear. Or at least not be in every magazine. And they did eventually fizzle out.

I think she's awful. Just shallow, pathetic, superficial to an unimaginable degree... I mean with all that money she does absolutely NOTHING of value with her life. Her whole family is the same. It's pretty sad that this is the kind of person that some view as a role model.
And with this wedding... it's just the icing on the cake. Some people have to fight for the right to get married to someone they TRULY LOVE and want to spend the rest of their lives with and are and this dipsh*t goes and blows how many millions just to turn around and say aw, it didn't work out but I loved him just 5 minutes later.
It's disgusting and IMO reflects poorly on our society.

Yes, regular people do this all the time. The difference is, she IS in the spotlight; we don't all hear about the regular couple who divorced after 72 days - we do hear about her. She put herself out there, and therefore I have no problem making her the "poster child" for this particular situation. Again, JMO, and I don't read much about her voluntarily, however when this news is all over the place, everywhere, including shows I watch such as Chelsea Lately or other late night talk shows, I can't seem to avoid it, and I developed an opinion. Like I said, its JMO. Take it or leave it.

For me, the reason why I have such negative feelings about this situation is because she whores herself to the media. She pretends she doesn't want anyone talking, but she does! Example: Mom, Kris Jenner, already on the Today show this morning clearing stuff up. Another example: Walking through the airport with an obvious "sad" face on. BEST example: Press shots of her walking the red carpet yesterday with another "sad" face AND matching "sad" faces by Khloe and Lamar. It's like they are all in mourning! I mean come on...if it's that serious...CANCEL! This is your personal/REAL life. Yes it may be unprofessional to do, but she's only bringing more attention to herself and the situation. I feel like it's all for the attention and "story" of Kim Kardashian.

I like them and can tolerate them a bit more than some, but this really dropped them all down a couple of notches for me.
I agree 100% with the above post. The fact that we have people in our society who have been together for years and have been denied the right to get married, and yet she gets to make it all a big joke is deplorable

I agree 100% with the above post. The fact that we have people in our society who have been together for years and have been denied the right to get married, and yet she gets to make it all a big joke is deplorable
And a few other things:
#1 I wish girls would have some real role models to follow...the entertainment biz doesn't cater to strong female roles, but instead to girls willing to wh0re themselves out
#2 I wish parents would encourage their daughters to realize these people (Kardashians and the like) are NOT role models, the sooner they do this, the better for their kids
And so much more, but I think its naive to say that its ONLY because society allows it...that's part of it. The other part is the business....

I agree with the other posters she (and all of the kardashians) are fame wh0res. They are being pimped out by their mother. I hate on her but I also can see how pretty she is and LOVE her hair. I am sure if I had a couple grand lying around could have the same extensions

Kim K is a public figure. She makes a living by people like us that watch her shows, purchase the products she endorses etc. As a public figure you set yourself up in a way that you are giving people a right to comment on your life. After all this is what "Keeping up with the Kardashians" is about. There are some people that like her and others that don't. SHE makes her life public so the fact that people hate her based on HER actions seems about right.
I used to like her, now I am on the fence. Some of the comments she makes are truly assinine and show the spoled brat that she really is. Let's not forget she became famous by having a sex tape out. That's definitely not a good role model for these young girls to have.

She is very money hungry, and she even registered for her wedding, people in her financial position usually request donations to a charity not insanely expensive wedding gifts. She really deserves everything she gets
