are chi straighteners really worth the money
I have a ceramic hot tools flat iron but everyone seems to rave about the chi. What do you think?

I have used a chi and I have a solia and it works just the same.. although the price isn't much different than the chi

I had a chi for years and loved it. It eventually wore out last year and I was going to buy another one but my hairdresser who originally recommended it to me a while back said the quality isn't what they used to be. She recommended an Ion which you can get at Sally. I like it just as much as the chi if not better and it was cheaper. I think I paid like $60 or $70 for mine at Sally and I do also see them on sale a lot now.

Honestly, I think it really just depends on your hair type.....for me, I have really thick hair with a weird wave through it so I straighten every other day. I invested in a GHD and it's the best thing I could have done. I literally shaved off 30 minutes for me in the morning.
So to answer your question, I think a CHI is worth it...you have to look at it like an investment. You'll save so much time!

I just bought the PYT straightener in the mall yesterday. Thing was expensive but it is sooooooo awesome. I have CRAZY curly hair and the woman straightened it in minutes. PLUS...they will straighten your hair for FREE for 2 years!
I made an appointment for Saturday for the girl to straighten my hair and just curl the ends for a wedding I have that day. 
LOVE the PYT.
