Is a recumbent bike worth the money?
I love my stationary bike, but I find that it bothers my back and that I get bored because I can't read and feel a little uncomfortable on it. Is the recumbent bike worth buying- does the recumbent seat really make a difference and do you get the same workout? TIA!

I love my recumbent bike. I much prefer it the regular bike. It also helps tone your tush more!

I LOVE my recumbent bike too! I would never go back to a regular stationary bike.
I bought mine on ebay...brand new. Schwinn retails for over $1,200 I got it for a little over $400 includes shipping $100.

I bought one at Sports Authority about a monthy ago...it's great. I too had back problems and hated the "Regular" bike but it really is so much better. I don't know why but I also feel like I get better workout. I bought a new balance..it was about $500 but I use it nearly every night, it was a great investment, I would highly recommend.
