How much does your 3-5 month eat?

Ds is 4.5 months and is still eating the same amount as last month and just as frequently (5 oz every 2-3 hours). He is gaining just fine and is in the 90th percentile for height and 80th for weight

but despite all that, I am worrying- so how much does your child eat?

My DD is almost 14 weeks and eats btwn 5-6 oz every 3 hrs, 5x's a day (sleeps from around 8 pm- 7am.) She is 12 lbs 8 oz (went to dr yesterday) and has been in 50th percentile since birth.

DS is 4 months and eats 4-6 ounces 5 times a day. He's been 50th percentile since birth as well and was EBF for the first 3 months and now FF.

dd will be 5months next week she gets five 6oz bottles and 2 soilds a day.
She sleeps from 8:30/9pm till 8am.

DS turned five months on Saturday. He drinks four 8oz bottles. Solids for breakfast and lunch as well.

I should have added we aren't doing solids yet- I decided to delay them until at least 5 months, maybe 6, we'll see.

DD is 3 months and just started having closer to 27 or 28 oz a day (she had been drinking about 23 until I switched her to the medium flow nipples the other day). She has somewhere between a 4.5-6 oz bottle (usually 5-5.5) every 3-4 hours but goes a long stretch overnight.

She's small -- 26th percentile at her 2-month appointment. We don't go back to the doctor until 4 months, but she weighed 11 lbs 5 oz last week when we went to the doctor about her eye and last night about 11.8 lbs on the scale. Of course, she hasn't pooed in about 36 hours so some of that weight may be poo. Poor thing.

I worry about how much I'm supposed to feed her all the time but my dad said I'd know it if she were hungry or full. She'd let me know. So I'm trusting that he's right.

My DD is almost 4 months and eats 5, 6oz bottles. One of those bottles she usually doesn't finish but this is where we are at now.

We are trying to get it to 4, 7oz bottles and eliminate the middle of the night one.

thanks Sandra- I never would have thought about the nipples- he's still using the ones that came with the bottles

I think I will head to bbb at lunch and get the next level up to see if that helps!

DD is almost 4 months and gets 4 7oz bottes a day (28 oz). We start cereal in about a week. She sttn so no more oveernight bottle

just moved up to 6oz every 3 hours (5 bottles a day)

5 months this friday weighs 18.11 27.5 inches 8 oz about 4 times a day last 2 feedings 5 oz a day about every 3.5-4.5 hours

Anthony is just shy of 4 months...

He either gets a bottle or is BF 5x a day. He takes 5-6ish ounces per bottle. Total of 25-30 ounces/per day - give or take.

We are starting solids on Monday!

DS is 5 months. Weighs 13lbs 9oz 25 inches. Takes 4-5 6ounce bottles a day. Will start rice cereal Saturday. He was born small, sometimes I feel he isn't drinking enough but he is gaining and his thighs definitely show it!

DD is 5 months and eats about 25-26 oz a day ( we just started giving her 4 bottles of 6.5 oz). She also gets a 1/2 container of veggies and 1/2 container of fruit per day. At her 5 month appt last week she was 13lbs, 14oz and 25" long. I worry sometimes she isn't eating enough too but that's really all she wants to take. She's gaining weight and is wetting enough diapers and pooping so I don't worry too much and her dr isn't concerned either. She was born 5 weeks early and weighed 4lbs, 13oz at birth.

Every child is different!

Brady eats 6 ounces 4x a day. I was nervous that 24 ounces wasn't enough and trying to give him another 4 ounces before bed but most of the time he doesn't want it. He is almost 4 months old.

6 or 6 .5 ounces every 4 hours. sometimes she will take 7, but not often. she is almost 12 pounds and will be 3 months tomorrow.

DS is 12 weeks and he ate 32 ounces today lol. Up until a week ago, he ate in the low to mid 20's.
