How many solid meals does/did your 7 month old eat?

and what do you give at each meal... just wanna see if what I'm doing is comparible..

Believe it or not, Cailen isnt the best eater - he really eats one solid meal - at daycare, he'll have a little cereal and a jar of baby food...

at home, he'll have a few bites of cereal and a few bites of babyfood in the evening, and he battles me the whole time!!!

8am: Cereal and stage 2 fruit
11 am: Yo baby yogurt or stage 2 (usually a granola or yogurt mix)
5 pm: 2 jars stage 2 food

dd eats 3 meals a day.

Breakfast is a stage 2 fruit and a 6oz bottle

Lunch and dinner are a stage 2 vegetable and a 6 oz bottle.

soemtimes I will give her cheerios as a snack.

all her bottle have 4 tsp of oatmeal in them b/c she has reflux

DS will be 7 months on the 26th. He eats as follows:

4-5am-8oz bottle
9-10am-cereal mixed with a little applesauce and an 6-8oz bottle.
1pm-2pm-stage 2 fruit or veggie.
3-4pm-8oz bottle
6-7pm-stage two meat combo and a 6-8oz bottle.

Holy, it seems like he eats all the time, but he really doesn't. DH doesn't usually give him breakfast in the morning

8 months old....

she is still taking five six ounce bottles.

8 am 3 tablespoons oatmeal and 1/2 stage two fruit

12 noon... same as breakfast

6 stage two vegetable

Lainie will be 8 months and her feeding schedule is like this...

7:30am: 7oz bottle

10:30am: stage 2 fruit / 3 tablespoons of oatmeal, a few puffs too OR Yo Baby yogart with Oatmeal

1:00pm: 5oz bottle

4:00pm: 5oz. bottle

6:00pm: stage 2 veggie OR 1/2 of stage 3 meat combo with veggie, puffs.

7:30pm: 4oz bottle

**I am going to start feeding her three meals a day so her breakfast bottle will be reduced to about 4oz. and replaced with stage 2 fruit

here is MAdison's schedule...

8 AM- fruit, 3 tablespoons of ceral and 5 ounce bottle

12 pm- vegie and 7 ounce bottle

4 pm- same as breakfast, but now we are starting meats, so it is changing next week.....

8 pm- just a 7 ounce bottle.all stage 2 foods.


everyday she does get some apple juice, sugar free ice pop for her teeth, and it is just a few licks so please don't flame me........... and a baby cookie to suck on until it gets soft then she can't have it!!!

I make most of the fruits and veg I serve DC's.

6 am bottle

7 am breakfast... mixed multi-grain cereal with two different fruits... pears, peaches, bananas, apple sauce, prunes, mango, watermelon

9:30-10- bottle

12 bottle (we'll start lunch in a few days, 8 months, because they are demanding more)

3 bottle

4:30 dinner... yogurt based with either hard boiled egg yolk or tofu mixed in with two different vegetables... I pick one Vitamin A veg and one Vitamin C... sweet potatoes, butternut squash, avacado, green beans, peas, carrots, asparagus, pumpkin. I will add beans in a week.

5:30 bottle

6 bed

No meat yet, they are getting complete proteins from the eggs, tofu and beans. We're following the diet in the Super Baby Food book.

DS is 6 months...

6-7 am -- 8 oz bottle

11 am --8 oz bottle and cereal

3:30 8 oz bottle & Fruit

6:30 --8 oz bottle

i am starting new fruits slowly

Emma will be 8 months next week (wow! where did the time go!) She eats Stage 1 size. Sometimes Stage 2, it depends.

7am Breakfast: Bottle and cereal or a fruit or sometimes just a bottle

10am: 6 ounce bottle

1pm: Veggie and 6 ounce bottle

4pm: 6 ounce bottle

6 or 6:30: 4 ounce bottle and fruit or a veggie.

Right now she gets solids about 3 times per day... usually in the morning it is fruit, in the afternoon fruit and vegetables, and we are just starting on meat in the evening. Usually with some vegetable and/or fruit.

For those of you wh wrote out your feeding schedules, do you stick with the same meals at the same time every day? I am finding it hard to get on a "normal" eating schedule.

DD turned 7 months yesterday. We steam/puree all of her fruits and veggies.

7am - wake up, 6-7 ounce bottle

8:30 or 9am - breakfast - fruit with oatmeal

11:30 or 12 - bottle

2pm - bottle

4:30 or 5pm - some sort of veggie/fruit combo - carrots, parsnips, papaya, sweet potatoes, apple, pear, lentils, etc.

6:30 or 7pm - small bottle (4 oz) and bed

Hasnt started meat yet - We're waiting til 9 months and we'll introduce fish.
