UPDATED-(look what else went wrong /with PICS) --Bobs furniture SUX!
sorry , that was harsh so I'm editing my comment (even though someone quoted me below) but really they are major PITA....
Update so the guy came and when we took the table cover off we discovered that our BRAND NEW table is cracked all over , all around the table and the legs.... plus the guy said not only did they not tighten the screws properly but the chairs are defective....
He is going to contact the store, he couldn't believe that the set is only not even 2 months old... here are some pics of furniture that was purchased not even 2 months ago !
SO NOW we have to figure out if we should just have them give us a new table (which the guy said will NOT be a problem and he will talk to them (he took pics) ) OR we should fight to get our money back and return the set (which will be extremely hard and maybe even impossible bc of their policies , but we can try )
WWYD?
another update: I called them and asked them for a full refund, they agreed, so we'll see how that goes.

we had practically our whole house furnished from Bob's. The only issue we had was when they delivered it, some of the pieces were broken and so they had to exchange them. But so far everything seems fine.

its cheap furniture and not a great quality. its not something that will last very long but if you know that when you buy it, then be prepared to replace it quickly down the road

sorry I guess I shuld have posted, but I was on the phone with them and was very frustrated
What happened , well, we bought a dining room set there, and not the cheap one either , this was in mid December, well within 2 weeks all the chairs started getting wobbly , the screws were loose, the arms on arm chairs coming loose and legs shaking/coming loose , I almost fell off one. This is happening with ALL 6 chairs/armchairs . Then one day I was vacuuming , I was taking the chairs to the LR so I could vacuum the dining room and the seat completely came off on one of the chairs. few days ago I was setting the table for dinner and I noticed that's wobbly and shaky too . Not only is this not acceptable, but also NOT safe for anyone, especially when you have a little one at home.....
Long story short I called and complained , they set up an appt to send someone to take a look, the appt was for today Wed teh 9th. DD got sick over the weekend, so we made an appt with a DR for today (only day tey had with an allergist) so I called Bobs and tehy "gladly" changed the date to Thursday(tomorrow) to send someone.
WELL. This morning DH got a call that Bobs will be coming TODAY. I called and explained that I changed it to Thursday, and of course they keep telling me that no it's today and tehy can't send anyone tomorrow. So now we have to have someone come on Saturday , which is a big inconvenience bc we have plans , but they can't do Mon which is the only free day I have, and other days it's too hard , but most importantly we can't wait too long (we wouldn't be able to get anyone till next Wed)
DH would do it , but why should he have to? (he did tighten screws on one chair and they came loose withing a week, so he decided not to do it again) plus they told us don't touch anything, "they'll take a look and resolve the issue..."
So this is the story and why I was so frustrated

yes we know, but we were thinking more like maybe 1-3 years, not 2 months (or I should say within 2-3 weeks it started with one chair and then it just went on and on)

that stinks, while it's not high end furniture, it certainly shouldn't be falling apart THAT soon! I hope they replace it for you!

Yeah, I just read your story. The furniture should last more than 2 months!!
I hope you get it resolved with them soon.

I have a DR set, mattress, leather sofa and love seat and a fireplace from them and have had no issues whatsoever.
Sorry your experience was bad.

We got a Bob-O-Pedic...HUGE mistake! We had to return it 3 times bc they were all garbage. Finally we just got our money back. It was a terrible waste of time.

I agree. While furnishing our first home it worked for us for financial reasons but i'll never buy furniutre from them again. I'm not thrilled with the quality.

Us too! We got a couch and after onlyl 1 year, the frame is falling apart! We got the insurance and they are suppose to come fix it but I haven't heard anything from them yet.

Our landlords had a lot of problems with them too. They had to come back 4 times to handle problems with their new couch. That alone will make us steer clear of them!

I always knew they were cra**y but I didn't think it was going to be this bad so quick.
I am so mad and frustrated, not only about the fact that everything is falling apart, but also bc of the way they are handling it, they were trying to tell me that I'm wrong and I changed the appt to Wed. ummm, why would I change the appt from WED TO WED -THE SAME DAY!
I am honestly so tired of dealing with stores and their bad merchandise/service that I am ready to call BBB and even sue Bobs . I just find this unacceptable.

My sister had the worst experience with them. About half of her order came, and the rest of it just never came. They rescheduled numerous deliveries and the furniture never came, nor did they credit her account. She had to dispute the charges on her own.

To be honest, I think most furniture places suck. The only one I have ever had good service from is The Place, who I would defintely use again. As far as the quality, you do get what you pay for. Though I would rather buy Ikea furniture which I think is better than Bob's Furniture for the amount they charge.
