Going to be an Aunt! & Question about registering!
Hi Everyone!
I'm a LIWeddings girl - new to LI Families, and we just found out my older sister is pregnant! So she is starting to think of registering since she's about to officially tell everyone outside the immediate family -
So - my question is - where did everyone do their research on what the best products/brands/models were for their baby registries? I would love to help her study about "the important things to look for" in cribs, car seats, strollers, etc.
Any help is appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!

Buy the Baby Bargains book. It will tell you everything you need to know.

Actually - looking at it online - does this tell you which brand of cribs is popular right now, and trends like that? That's the thing I'm looking for- to see what items to register for, and what items to stay away from?

It tells you everything you need to know from maternity clothes, baby gear, clothes, to cribs and nursery furniture. It doesn't tell you specifically what's " popular" but it tells you things like what to look for or stay away from and how to get more bang for your buck too.

Aw, congrats Carly!
Yes, definitely check out the Baby Bargains book. It will tell you the popular stuff and WHY it's so popular, safety ratings, what's best for the money, etc. Really great tool.

yeah, I totally agree - though I guess it looks like it's still relevant based on everyone's reactions.

yeah, I totally agree - though I guess it looks like it's still relevant based on everyone's reactions.
Yea I guess so.. I think I may go to Borders or Barnes and Noble and try to check it out
