Convertible Carseat purchase
DH wants me to pick up a convertible car seat THIS WEEK before I travel on Thursday. He looked at some options and we were not sure if we should get one that takes DC to 40 or 65lbs.
Any suggestions??

the 65lb seats last longer. carseatsafety chris recommended the graco myride65. they are just as great as the britax but $100-200 cheaper!

We have the Graco myride 65 and it's great! Can handle rear facing longer, and Pretty sure goes up to 60 lbs foward facing. Plus, DS loves that seat!

I have a the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite and i LOVE it and it goes to 100 pounds. It's normally $159, i paid $70 with a 20% off coupons and some other coupons too.

I have this too, but its not 100lbs as a car seat. Its 40lbs as a car seat, then turns into a high back booster, then a seat only booster (I think)
Go with one that goes to 65lbs. DS is almost 3 and he is a big kid but he out grew his britax at 2yo! We got the Nautilis but this is forward facing only.
My neighbor has the My ride 65 and its really nice!
