Convertible carseat, smaller car and taking into consideration another baby....

So we have an Acura TSX and I need to get a convertible carseat for my DS who is 8 mths old. I was originally thinking about getting a Britax and after having a conversation with my sister I am concerned about the size of the Britax. If we have another baby in 2 years and I have to put the baby carrier in, I am concerned that it could get really tight int he back. What if I ever have to squeeze in between? At thsi point, we are not thinking about getting a SUV. Her girlfriend is going through this issue and she wanted me to think in advance.

Any recommendations from mom'swho have two or more with a smaller car?

Many recommended the Graco Comfortsport to us. We have been using it in both our cars for a while now. We have small cars too. We don't have a second child, but I could see them both fitting in. I also wanted a Britax, but had to come back to reality.

I have a Britax Boulevard and an Eddie Bauer Convertible seat in my car a few times a week.. They fit fine but you can't have a 3rd person back there. I have to say though when I had the infant seat and the EB in there you couldn't fit a 3rd person either.

I have two Britax Roundabouts--they're the smallest size Britaxes (sp? Chat Icon) I drive an Accord, and they both fit in fine--once or twice someone's squeezed in between, but I don't recommend that necessarily, it's tight! I don't know that many carseats are smaller than this one...they're pretty much the same or larger, in my shopping experience.

We have a PT Cruiser with two Britax's. The backseat is just for the two carseats. Nobody can sit back there. There's no need for DW or I to sit in the back with DC, and if we need anyone else to go with us, they take their own car.

This is our take. I drive a truck and so does DH, but we are way past the age of chauferring around other people. KWIM?
